Film Cast & Crew

Casting for “The Adventures of Roman and Jorge” was completed over two days at Hosanna Chapel in Bellflower, CA. Since this was a non-union TV show and the production was working from a small budget, actors were pulled everywhere from budding Hollywood actors to friends and family.

Trivia:

It’s all in the family: Jorge’s son is played by the son of Greg Elsasser (Roman) while Roman’s daughter is actually the daughter of Dru Morgan (Jorge).

The part of “Angry Man” was played to perfection by Justin Kent—crew member and photographer of “Roman and Jorge.”

Jared Head, who played “Brian Murphy,” was a high school student in Greg Elsasser’s theatre class for 5 ½ years. Jared, who participates in improvisational shows around the Los Angeles area, improvised a few of his lines.

Ron Ruhman (Mr. Loble) is a Christian comedian.

Teri Ann Moyer (Susan) came on board as a producer of episode 3, and now acts as executive producer for the remainder of the series.

The scene where Jorge pulls a cheesecake out of his backpack and gives it to Vince is based on a real life event.

The wheat field in episode 3 was an actual wheat field that was torn down right after production wrapped.
